Fully fundedgraduate Assistantships in Civil & Environmental Engineering at  
the Universityof Missouri, Columbia.  
TheDepartment of Civil & Environmental Engineering of the University  
of Missouri invites applicants for Ph.D. studies in Water Resources  
Engineeringstarting in Fall 2020. We seek two skilled and motivated students  
to work on:  
(1) Simulationof bubble dynamics. Preferred qualifications include  
experiences inexperimental/theoretical/computational fluid mechanics and one  
or moreprograming languages (Matlab, Python, Fortran, C++, etc.). We are  
particularlyinterested in the candidates who have experiences with OpenFOAM,  
LES, DNS, andturbulent data analysis.  
(2)  Hydraulicand hydrodynamics modeling of rivers and lakes. Preferred  
qualificationsinclude experiences in large scale hydrodynamics models and/or  
surface/groundwater hydraulic models. The candidates who are familiar with  
MODFLOW, SWMM,EFDC, FVCOM, ROMS, Delft3D are encouraged to apply.
